Antoine Gaber – Canadian Contemporary Artist Photographer and Impressionist Painter – Artist Bio – 2009
During the financial recession in 2009, the International art world has been significantly affected and more so as Art is considered a luxury and non essential item.
During that time, reduced sales especially with high priced items would have greatly affected business and fundraising activities through Gaber Passion for Life Program. Therefore in 2009, Gaber chose not to participate to any art shows or fundraising activities until the economy became stable.
In addition to being a painter, Gaber has now expanded his art also as a Photographer and Digital Artist. Gaber unique Digital Art Photography artworks technique of landscapes, floral, and architecture was named “Evolutional Ribbonized Photography™“.
The term “Evolutional” comes from the fact that a normal photograph passes through an evolutional stage of transformation through a mathematical algorithm. This transformation uses the shadows within a photograph and fills it with a colored ribbon, hence the word “Ribbonized“.
Gaber created a significant selection of Digital Art Photography Catalogues with this new technique and entered the art market making it an innovative Contemporary Art, made affordable and available to all segments of the population who wish to own valuable art.
In January 2009, a new DVD release of a retrospective of Gaber “PASSION FOR LIFE” International Exhibition 2008 at the Grand Palais des Champs Elysées, in Paris. Gaber “PASSION FOR LIFE “was invited under the banner of the prestigious Société des Artistes Indépendants. A small group of innovative artists, Paul Cézanne, Paul Gauguin, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Camille Pissarro and Founders Albert Dubois-Pillet, Odilon Redon, Cross, Georges Seurat, Paul Signac, founded the Salon des Indépendants in 1884.

The DVD segment included important personal interviews in French, with internationally renowned French artist singer, dancer and actress Nicole Croisille who supported impressionist painter Antoine Gaber for his art and became the Ambassador for his “PASSION FOR LIFE ” program for the French Culture around the world. French renowned actor M. Stéphane Henon who plays on the French TV network France 3, in the television series “Plus Belle la Vie” is also featured as one of the segments were he supports impressionist painter Antoine Gaber for his artwork and also his cause for the fight against cancer.
In January 2009, following his 2008 Paris Exhibition at the Grand Palais, Gaber, inspired and influenced by some of well established French Artists masters, he decided to explore a new Contemporary artwork style and technique while remaining focused on his love for nature and floral.

Gaber is photographed in his art Studio in Toronto while finalizing his first painting of large Floral Titled “Tulip in full bloom”
