Antoine Gaber – Canadian Contemporary Film Producer, Artist Photographer and Impressionist Painter – Artist Bio – 2018
In preparation for the Water for Life, International Art Exhibition, at the Niagara Falls History Museum, Gaber, as the Artistic Director and, participating artist created a special oil on canvas painting to be exhibited. His artwork titled “Onguiaahra” an Aboriginal word that appears on maps as early as 1641, interpreted as Thunder of Waters that clearly reflects the power of the waterfalls.
Now resident of Niagara Falls, Ontario, Gaber artistic contribution aim to this International event is to integrate some of the importance of this beautiful area, the spectacular Falls with it’s amazing combination of height and volume of water making it so unique.
Through his impressionistic artwork inspired by the theme of water, and since 20% of the fresh water from the world passes through Niagara Falls, his objective is to sensitize audiences to an important social and cultural issue: “More than a billion individuals – one in seven people on the planet – now lack access to safe drinking water. “
On this special occasion Gaber had his special Artwork scanned for Museum Printing quality for limited editions production. Some of the artwork detailed close ups can be seen thanks to this very special scanner resolution.
At the same time, Gaber also released his newest Art Collection 2018 of his exclusive “Evolutional Ribbonized Photography™” of Floral, and Wineries.
One year prior to the exhibition, and after meeting the famous artist and muralist painter Rina Lazo from Mexico City, who was the assistant / collaborator of Diego Rivera, one of the most visible figure in Mexican muralism, Gaber pursued his initiative to have his International Art Exhibit, Water for Life in Niagara Falls.
Therefore Water for Life is a continuation of the important message of the water theme started years ago through the artistic expression of the famous mural created by Diego Rivera and Rina Lazo in Mexico City.
On May 12, 2018, under the Patronage of the Mayor of Niagara Falls, the support of the elected Members of the Provincial and Federal Parliament, the Culture & Museums Manager, City of Niagara Falls, the Niagara Falls History Museum curator, International important Art Critics from Italy and Mexico, and the close collaboration of Angelina Herrera, International Cultural promoter / event Coordinator, Gaber as the Artistic Director inaugurated the First Water for Life, International Art Exhibition at the Niagara Falls History Museum.
37 Internationally acclaimed award-winning Artists from 18 different Countries contributed by exhibiting their artworks under the theme of water at the Museum.
This Historical International Premiere in Niagara Falls was a great success as it conveyed the message that water is essential to our very existence as it sensitizes audiences to this critical social issue.
WATER FOR LIFE INTERNATIONAL ART EXHIBITION
On September 9th at the conclusion of the Exhibition at the Niagara Falls History Museum, Gaber and a selected number of Water for Life Artists exhibited at the Carmel Fine Art & Music Festival in Niagara Falls.
In early October 2018, the Water for Life, Second Edition and the Passion for Life, International Art Exhibitions were presented at the Historic Distillery District in Toronto.
28 Artists from 12 Countries presented their artworks championing these two important causes; access to drinkable water, and the fight against breast cancer through research.

Gaber launched his newest Contemporary floral collection of his Evolutional Ribbonized Photography digital artworks on Chromaluxe aluminum providing great sharpness, gloss and depth effect.
These two successful International Art Exhibitions, sensitized the public to two important facts: that breast cancer research saves lives, and to provide access to drinkable water for all human beings.
After the Toronto Exhibition, Gaber met with the Consul General of Argentina for Toronto, Sra. Maria A. Lonardi de Duardo, to officially donate to the Consulate, the artwork exhibited by Artist Silvana Merello, an Argentina native, during the “Water for Life” International Art Exhibition.
On the 27th of October, Gaber was inducted during the 13th Annual City of Niagara Falls Arts & Culture Wall of Fame. The objectives of this event are to recognize and serve as a visual memory of artistic and cultural contribution in the City of Niagara Falls and to ensure due recognition for their artistic and cultural contributions to the arts and cultural landscape of Niagara Falls.
Gaber was selected along other recipients who won Academy Award, and Juno Award for their artistic contributions and outstanding accomplishments.
In addition to being recognized by the City of Niagara Falls Mayor, Gaber was also recognized by the elected Members of Federal and Provincial Parliament for his contribution to the arts and culture of Niagara Falls.

On the 20th of November 2018, “Water for Life” International Art Exhibition supported the World Day for the Rights of Children and Adolescence at the Murate, and subsequently at the “Istituto Innocenti”, in Florence, Italy. This date commemorates the United Nations General Assembly adoption in 1989, of the UN Convention for the Rights of Children and Adolescence.
As International collaboration and contribution to this important Italian project, Antoine Gaber, Artistic Director of “Water for Life” International Art Exhibition and Angelina Herrera, International Cultural Promoter / Art Event Coordinator, brought this prestigious Italian event to an International level with the visual testimonies of young people from other participating countries (Sweden, Canada, USA, Spain (Barcelona) and Mexico).
At the end of November, Gaber launched and added to his to his existing Niagara Falls Collection his new Photographic Series 2018.
