WATER FOR LIFE, INTERNATIONAL ART EXHIBITION, 5th Edition 2023: Message from Lic. Claudia León Aguilar, Director of Municipal Tourism Palenque, Chiapas, Mexico

We are honoured to have from March 23rd to April 2nd, 2023 in our beautiful Pueblo Magico of Palenque numerous international artists exhibiting their artworks to raise awareness and protect the environment and our water resources.

For Palenque it is a pleasure to participate in this kind of events as it is everyone’s commitment to take care, protect and make a correct use of our water resources. We hope that our visitors may enjoy our Pueblo Magico.

We are fortunate to be surrounded by an abundant vegetation, the magnificent archaeological zone considered a World Heritage Site as well as the Alberto Ruz L’Huillier Site Museum, which will be the venue for the “Water for Life” Art exhibition, with the wonderful Red Queen’s room and the reproduction of Pakal’s tomb.

Our visitors will be delighted with Palenque’s tourist sites as we have an impressive water way, full of waterfalls and health resorts that we are sure you will enjoy daily. The enigmatic caves are not to be missed, as well as the natural temazcales and the eco parks where you can reconnect with nature.
