As the Member of Parliament for the Niagara Falls riding I am please to welcome to our beautiful Niagara region, the participating artists, and the visiting public, to the “Water For Life” International Art Exhibition.
Niagara Falls is an area rich with historical significance, scenic wonder, and entertainment for all ages. It is best known as a world-class tourist destination, attracting millions of visitors from around the world every year. Some of its most attractive features include the thundering and majestic Niagara Falls, a booming and popular wine and agricultural industry, and many historical sites from the War of 1812. The history associated with the riding was vital to the formation of Upper Canada- and the Canada that we are proud to call home today.
I congratulate Antoine Gaber, the Artistic Director of “Water for Life”, also resident of Niagara Falls, for taking the initiative to bring through the arts and culture this important message of clean drinking water to the general public, and would like to take this opportunity to wish all the best to the many artists and organizers who have worked so hard to put together this informative art exhibit.
Honourable, Robert Nicholson, MP
Member of Parliament
